These are beautiful Kosali songs having the fragrance of Kosali language, the mother tongue of about 2 crores people spread over 10 contiguous districts of western Odisha.Calling them Sambalpuri on the name of a city of that region is inappropriate .

The variety has across , not a synonym or confined though. But use if ହଳନ୍ତ are more in Sambalpuri style. Although the Nta, ନ୍ତ, are also in Ganjami.
We do hv variety, this is the reason Odisha is famous, the different style of culture , dialect , variety of noun for a common proverb. I love Sambalpuri. But can’t say fully on that style.

I adore Sambalpuri but it is becoming more like hindi/kosali. Sambalpuri changed their grammar formation to hindi. They sold their language to hindi dialects.
There was no 'aye' thing before hindi came.

It's Odia the language which we fought for very distinct than Mughal Urdu / Hindi and very close to Sanskrut.
It's not kataki it's Odia ( Standard Sanskrut Odia)
The closest lang to Sanskrut.
You accept that Chhattisgarh was unified with Orissa (eastern Ganga dynasty) only because we (oriya) lost of state Sambalpur to dakshina kosala of Chhattisgarh.

Have seen it. I generally ignore such discussions. It's difficult for a generation who have studied Odia MIL all their life.. frankly speaking, I can't write in Devnagri .. never felt the need.
