Odisha Odia collated 1912

He penned this beautiful poem a year after in 1912...Rabindranath tagore was so impressed with young laxmikant that he called him a patriotic poet.
After that....His patriotic poems spread all over orissa.

This 1912 short story "Daka Munshi" (written by the founding-father of modern Odia fiction) is extremely relevant to this day and thus a timeless gem. In our society, we get to see a lot of Gopal Singhs (blacksheep sons ungrateful to their parents) these days. 👏👏👏 for thread.

So happy to see my Jejemama in colour.
She married my grandfather in 1912 and my father was just a 8yrs old when we lost her.
All we grandchildren grew up on her legends and revel in her memories most fondly
